Meyer Suozzi Defeats Motion for Summary Judgement On Behalf of World Renowned Doctor

In the matter of Natale v. Beth Israel Medical Center, et al., before U.S. District Court Judge Stanton in the Southern District of New York, the Court denied Mount Sinai Health System Inc.’s motion for summary judgment in connection with a breach of contract case commenced by world-renowned Electrophysiologist Andrea Natale, M.D. The Court held that questions of fact abound in connection with Dr. Natale’s termination following a merger between his initial employer, St. Luke’s Hospital and Continuum Health Partners, Inc. and Mount Sinai Hospital in September 2013.
