Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein P.C is pleased to announce that Michael Antongiovanni, member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group, has been named to the Long Island Association’s (LIA) inaugural Young Professionals Committee. The newly formed committee will engage young professionals between the ages of 22-35 in the work of the Long Island Association, while giving a voice to the next generation of business leaders. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, September 18th at the LIA Headquarters.
Antongiovanni, who was appointed as member of the firm in 2013, is a talented and respected litigator. He has handled a broad range of business disputes, breach of contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud, and other civil claims. Antongiovanni was named as a Rising Star by New York Super Lawyers in 2013.
Founded in 1926, the Long Island Association supports economic growth and business development on Long Island. In addition to the Young Professionals Committee, the LIA has several other strategic committees to address issues including economic development, energy and the environment, tax policy, health and education, and small business development. Meyer Suozzi’s Managing Attorney Lois Carter Schlissel currently serves on the LIA’s Board of Directors.
