On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University celebrated its 50th Anniversary and Inaugural Hall of Fame event. During the event, 50 alumni, as well as 15 distinguished alumni on the bench, were inducted into the inaugural Hall of Fame. Among them was Meyer Suozzi's Managing Attorney and Chair of the Wills, Trusts, and Estates Practice, Patricia Galteri.
Hofstra Law established the Hall of Fame to honor alumni whose exemplary careers and extraordinary service to the legal profession and for the betterment of society have significantly impacted the Hofstra Law community. Inductees were nominated by their peers and selected by a committee of Hofstra Law alumni, faculty, and administrators. Ms. Galteri was inducted into the Hall of Fame for her outstanding career in the practice of Wills, Trusts, and Estates, as well as for serving as the Managing Attorney of Meyer Suozzi.
